(UTV|COLOMBO) – The train services on the up-country railway track have been disrupted since last night due to the earth slip between Diyathalawa and Bandarawela, the Railway Control Room said.
They said the train services could only be operated up to Bandrawela.
Accordingly, the Colombo bound Badulla night mail train only operated up to Diyathalawa Railway Station last night.
A bus service has been arranged for transportation commuters between Diyathalawa and Bandarawela.
The clearing of the track is underway.
