(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Udhayam TV – a new Tamil channel from Sri Lanka is going to launch officially on March 23rd.
Dialog Television (DTV), the premiere satellite entertainment network in the country further ramped up its channel offering with Sri Lanka’s highly anticipated High-Definition (HD Ready) Television channel, Udhayam TV to its bouquet.
Udhayam TV, the Tamil-language channel is now available free-of- charge to all DTV customers nationwide on channel 135. It brings the biggest and best blockbuster movies from Kollywood along with the best programmes in entertainment, edutainment, infotainment, and sports.
Furthermore, Udhayam News provides comprehensive coverage across the country on current and past events in national, local, and international affairs. In a short period of time, Udhayam TV has evolved and established a strong and growing digital presence throughout local and international communities.
Udhayam TV was established in 2015, as a webcast media presentation appropriated over the internet utilizing streaming media technology to circulate news content. The channel is currently preparing to run earthbound with its recently installed transmitter in Colombo. Plans are afoot to establish alternative transmitter stations with a specific end goal to provide island-wide coverage.
