UTV|COLOMBO – All-rounder Thisara Perera has been appointed as the skipper of Sri Lanka one-day and T20 teams.
He succeeded Upul Tharanga.
Perera led Sri Lanka at the recently held T20 series against Pakistan.
Sources say that the official announcement will be made at a media conference convened by Sri Lanka Cricket this afternoon.
