Sri Lanka Police Expose another International Drug Racket

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Information regarding narcotics trafficking involving Brazil, Lithuveniya, India, Nigeria and Sri Lanka has been exposed.

A Lithuvinian national was arrested by the police Narcotics Eradication Bureau yesterday (14th Tuesday) at Bandaranayake International Airport, for attempting to smuggle in a stock of cocaine worth Rs 30 million.

On this occasion two Nigerian nationals, who were at the airport waiting to receive the stock, were also arrested.

Police said that the three suspects were being interrogated with regard to the matter after being produced before the court.
