Salman Khan ‘Given Benefit of Doubt’ in Arms Act Case by Jodhpur Court – [VIDEO]

(UDHAYAM, JODHPUR) -Actor Salman Khan was on Wednesday acquitted by a Jodhpur court of charges that he carried fire arms with expired licence while allegedly poaching blackbucks 19 years ago.

Prosecution lawyer Bhawani Singh told reporters after the verdict that Khan got the benefit of doubt because the prosecution had failed to establish charges.

Khan was present in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate with his sister Alvira when the verdict was pronounced.

This was one of the four cases against the actor. While the Rajasthan High Court has acquitted him in two cases of chinkara poaching, trial in the third case of alleged poaching of two black bucks is still on.

Khan, during his last court appearance on March 10, 2016, had said that he was innocent and was framed in the case by the forest department.
