(UDHAYAM, KEGALLE) – A police officer attached to Mangalagama Police station shot himself with the weapon of a fellow officer on Saturday night.
The officer sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Police said the injured officer was rushed to Gonagolla Hospital and later transferred to the Ampara General Hospital.
Mangalagama Police are conducting investigations.
