(UTV|COLOMBO) – Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Minister Rauff Hakeem has vehemently rejected all allegations levelled at him over allegedly maintaining ties with extremist groups.
Speaking at a rally Minister Hakeem said the opposition faction is attempting to hinder the election campaign of Minister Sajith Premadasa through such allegations.
The Minister also criticised those who are attempting to incite racism by spreading false rumours via social media and other electronic media.
Minister Hakeem also said he never maintained any links with extremist groups in the past, as claimed by certain factions.
