(UTV|COLOMBO) – Havelock Sports Club, powered by Mobitel lifted the Clifford Cup recently after drubbing Air Force Sports Club decisively by 37 points (four tries, four conversions and three penalties) to 21 points (there tries and two conversions) in the final played at the Racecourse grounds, Reid Avenue over the weekend. Havies demonstrated true grit to claw themselves to the top of the heap at the final whistle of the tournament, surpassing other teams tipped to win the cup. The Havies have a wonderful blend of experienced players and young talent who have gelled well together.
