Malaysia’s Perodua Bezza debuts in Sri Lanka

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Malaysian auto company Perodua has launched its latest sedan Bezza in Sri Lanka.

The 1.0L Bezza with automatic transmission made its debut in Sri Lanka at a launch organized by Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd’s (Perodua) official distributor, Unimo Enterprises Ltd.

Perodua in a statement said that Sri Lanka is the largest export market for the Perodua brand to date, with a cumulative total 14,000 vehicles sold.

Exports to Sri Lanka began in 1997 with the Kancil followed in later years by the Kenari, Kelisa, and Viva. At present, the Bezza joins the Axia.

Currently, Unimo imports the Perodua Axia, which sold 1, 400 units last year and now the Bezza which will cost Rs. 3.69 million.
