(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The price of lottery ticket will be reduced to Rs. 20 from February 01st, the National Lotteries Board and Development Lotteries Board states.
Lottery ticket sellers and agents protested against the move by the Finance Ministry to increase the price to Rs. 30.
President Maithripala Sirisena emphasized that the prices will be reverted to Rs. 20.
