(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A September release date has been announced for “John Wick,” a comic book series prequel to the Keanu Reeves action movie series in the works at Dynamite Entertainment.
Greg Pak, the man behind Marvel’s “Planet Hulk” storyline, is writing the new series which doesn’t continue the storyline, rather it flashes all the way back to the start of Wick’s career.
Giovanni Valletta is doing the art for the comic and the series has scored blessings from all of the creators involved with the films including everyone from creator Derek Kolstad, to studios Thunder Road and Lionsgate, and even Reeves himself.
The series will launch digitally and in comic book stores this September.
