(UDHAYAM, NUWARA ELIYA) – The body of a female doctor who worked in Nuwara Eliya Hospital as an Anaesthetist has been found from her quarter on Tuesday afternoon (23).
Police suspect that the doctor has committed suicide by injecting a high dose of Anaesthetic drugs.
The body of the deceased has been found when a group of doctors went to the doctors’ quarters to check on her since she did not report to work.
Reportedly, the deceased had previously been married to a doctor attached to the same hospital, and she lived a solitary life after her marriage ended in divorce.
The deceased is a 31-year-old resident in Kiribathgoda.
