(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senaratne stated today (12th Thursday) it was prohibited to charge for cataract lenses and stents for heart ailments from patients who visit government hospitals for treatments.
He said disciplinary action would be taken against doctors who violate these directives.
