(UDHAYAM, CALIFORNIA) – Casey Affleck, who won Best Actor at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, got political and spoke against President Trump’s policy making. ‘The policies of this administration are abhorrent and they will not last … they’re really un-American,’ he stated.
The younger brother of Ben Affleck wore a shirt with the Arabic symbol of Love emblazoned across his chest.
He won for his role in Manchester by the Sea. The 32nd annual Spirit Awards were held at California’s Santa Monica Pier on 25th February. These awards celebrate films made with a budget of less than $20 million.
