(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers approved a request to give a compensation of Rs 2 million to the families of prisoners killed in the Welikada riot in 2012.
Those who sustained injuries from the riot will be awarded a compensation of Rs 500,000.
