பாலஸ்தீனத்திற்கு ஆதரவாக கொழும்பில் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் – நாடளாவிய ரீதியில் தொடரும் என்கிறார் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் எம்.பி

பலஸ்தீன மக்கள் மீது இஸ்ரேல் மேற்கொண்டுள்ள இனப்படுகொலையை நிறுத்துமாறும், கோர யுத்தத்தை நிறுத்துமாறும் கோரி சுதந்திர பலஸ்தீனத்துக்கான கூட்டு எதிர்க்கட்சிகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள் வியாழக்கிழமை (14) பிற்பகல் கொழும்பில் உள்ள ஐ. நா. அலுவலகத்தின் முன்னால் ஒன்று கூடி பலத்த எதிர்ப்பைத் தெரிவித்தனர்.

அதன் இலங்கைக்கான வதிவிடப் பிரதிநிதிக்கு மகஜரொன்றும் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இந்த எதிர்ப்பு நடவடிக்கை நாடளாவிய ரீதியில் தொடரும் என ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர், பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் அங்கு தெரிவித்தார்.

மு.கா.பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் எம்.எஸ். உதுமாலெப்பை,கம்யூனிஸ்ட் கட்சியின் செயலாளர் கலாநிதி வீரசிங்க,முன்னாள் கொழும்பு மேயரும்,இலங்கையின் முன்னாள் ஈரான் தூதுவருமான ஒமர் காமில், கொழும்பு மாநகர சபை முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ், ஐக்கிய மக்கள் சக்தி ஆகியவற்றின் உறுப்பினர்கள் உட்பட பாராளுமன்றத்தில் அங்கம் வகிக்கும் மற்றும் அங்கம் வகிக்காத எதிர் கட்சிகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள் பலர் கலந்து கொண்டு பலத்த எதிர்ப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.

Representatives of the Joint Opposition Parties for Free Palestine gathered in front of the UN office in Colombo on Thursday (14) afternoon, demanding an end to the genocide being perpetrated by Israel on Palestinian people and the war in Gaza and other areas . A memorandum was also handed over to UN Resident Representative in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Parliamentarian Rauff Hakeem said, that this protest will continue islandwide. SLMC Member of Parliament M.S. Uthumalebbe, Communist Party Secretary Dr. Weerasinghe, former Colombo Mayor and former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Iran Omar Kamil, Opposition members of the Colombo Municipal Council including Sri Lanka Muslim Congress and Samagi Jana Bala wegaga, as well as members of opposition parties representing and non representing Parliament participated .
