(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says the time has come for social reform in the country to be based on insight and inspiration from younger generations.
Speaking at an event held last evening at Temple Trees the Premier said it is time to amend past mistakes while looking to the future.
The Prime Minister further noted reconciliation was fostered and developed since the year 2015.
He noted therefore since such reconciliation efforts have succeeded thus far, the focus must now be on rebuilding society according to the views and ideas of the country’s youth, in order to encourage further development.
